Lululemon gets new chief product officer (and more pants complaints)
Tara Poseley, most recently president of Kmart Apparel, joined Lululemon last week as the company’s chief product officer. Rather than a round of namastes, seems Poseley was greeted with consumer complaints about the company’s new pants and the way they quickly start pilling.

Facebook opens submissions for Facebook Studio Awards
Judged by Facebook’s Creative Council, the Facebook Studio Awards honour the best creative made specifically for Facebook. The social network has put out an open call for submissions for the 2014 awards. Like last year, they will be judged on business results, scale, targeting, craft and execution. Last year, Canada was in the top 10 countries for volume of submissions.

Johnson & Johnson agree to pay $2.2 billion in fines
Johnson & Johnson have agreed to pay over US$2.2 billion in criminal and civil fines to settle claims it promoted three drugs for uses they weren’t approved for. According to documents, the company marketed Risperdal to doctors as a way of treating patients with early dementia to help keep anxiety, agitation and depression at bay. It was only approved for schizophrenia. A judge has yet to agree to the settlement.
