Gen Y becoming more engaged at work
Good news about the least-interested young person in your office: a new study shows that engagement at work is up amongst millennials. According to the report, 69% of young workers report to being engaged, up 6% from the last study in 2007. There’s also been a big jump in the number of young people who say their job is a fit for their skills and experience – 77%, up 32 points from 2007.

Holiday shopping is stressful for Canadians
If you hate holiday shopping, you’re not alone. According to a Staples-commissioned study about gift giving in Canada, 90% of Canadians say they have at least one “ungiftable” person on their holiday shopping list. Two out of three also said they find buying gifts for anyone stressful, which opens up a big market for post-holiday shopping massages.

Jaguar to cast itself as a villain in Super Bowl spot
The PR cycle for Super Bowl spots is stretching out over almost the entire winter season, with news this week about Jaguar’s first-ever Super Bowl spot making the rounds. According to Media Post, the ad will have a “British Villains” theme. The brand/car itself will also reportedly play the roll of the villain in the commercial.
