Canadian fashion house VAWK launches holiday eBay collection
Launched on Cyber Monday, the Canadian label VAWK’s capsule collection for eBay offered consumers the chance to bid on designer wares with a starting price of just $0.99. Of course, given the popularity of last year’s collection (90% of the goods sold out within 24 hours), it’s unlikely any lucky consumers will walk away with a one dollar gown.

Samsung, P&G and Microsoft among Facebook’s biggest advertisers
Though Facebook does not disclose how much individual advertisers spend, a new report by Business Insider reveals the likely candidates splurging on Facebook ads. Combing together data from comScore and interviews with internal Facebook sources and the social network’s clients, the list reveals Samsung to be Facebook’s top spender, with an estimated $100 million annual ad spend. Also on the list: Procter and Gamble ($60 million), Microsoft ($35 million) and Amazon ($30 million).

New app allows brands to monitor shopper reviews
Just in time for the holiday shopping season, a new Hootsuite app that allows marketers to monitor reviews launched Monday. Called Reputology, the app collects reviews from sites like Yelp, Google+ Local, Tripadvisor, Foursquare, Yellowpages, Yahoo Local, Citysearch, Urbanspoon and Opentable into one place for marketers to review. The idea, according to Reputology, is that retailers and brands will be able to see negative reviews and respond swiftly in hopes of changing customers’ minds.
