Microsoft’s hunt for new CEO may soon be over
It looks like a new CEO may be named at Microsoft as soon as early 2014, according to Microsoft lead independent director John Thompson in a recent blog post on the software giant’s site. The search started last August after Steve Ballmer announced that he would be retiring within a year.

Amazon introduces virtual vision board for creatives
Amazon has launched a beta version of an online tool called Storybuilder that allows creative thinkers to keep better track of their ideas on a virtual pinboard. The tool allows users to add annotations or images and can be accessed from a number of platforms.

A blue blue Christmas for some Sears workers
Sears Home Services provider has gone into receivership, leaving more than 600 people jobless less than a week before Christmas. SHS Services Management Inc. has been providing home installed products and services under the Sears Home Services banner since February. The company is citing liabilities of $17million.
