Rumours get louder about Microsoft’s next CEO
There’s been a lot of guessing about who Microsoft’s next CEO will be, and it looks like the speculation will soon be over. Various news groups are reporting that the next head of the company could be Satya Nadella, who has been with Microsoft for more than 20 years and leads its enterprise and cloud divisions.

Marks & Spencer to go abroad
British department store Marks & Spencer is looking for space in Australia as part of its strategy to become an international multi-channel retailer. Australia is becoming a particularly competitive with retailer’s H&M and Uniqlo expected to set up shop this year. M&S will reportedly open smaller format stores for its first foray into the market. Fashion and beauty take up around 80% of the floor space in a small format M&S, with food the remaining 20%.

Cheerios’ bi-racial family getting people in trouble again
Cheerio’s latest vehicle, a bi-racial family featured in TV spots, got racist morons in a snit back in May when it debuted. This time around, it was a media professional whose assumptions about public response started the scandal ball rolling. MSNBC has let go of an unnamed employee after they tweeted “Maybe the right wing will hate it, but everyone else will go awww: the adorable new #Cheerios ad w/ biracial family.” At press time, the Republican National Congress is calling for a boycott of the network.
