ASC wins Revlon Professional account

Firm will also handle Meghan Markle dress launch for Reitmans

ASC Public Relations has been named Canadian agency of record for Revlon Professional after winning and RFP process.

The one-year contract began Feb. 1 and ASC will be handling media relations and events across the country for Revlon Professional’s brands, which also include CND and men’s line American Crew, says ASC principal Suzanne Cohon.

Efforts will be focused on the Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver markets, she says.

ASC has also been named by Reitmans to handle the launch in late April of actress Meghan Markle’s first dress collection for the retailer. Markle, one of the stars of the TV series Suits, was named a Reitmans brand ambassador last summer.

As part of the project, ASC will handle a media and engagement program and introduce the new collection to influencers. The Markle collection “just builds off the relationship they have with Meghan as the face of their campaign and takes it a bit deeper.

ASC has worked with Markle in the past, Cohon says.
