Luminato, Toronto’s annual city-wide art and creativity festival, has chosen Bensimon Byrne as its new agency of record.

The Toronto-based agency, along with subsidiaries Mighty Digital and Narrative Advocacy Media, have been charged with rebranding the 10-day summer festival and crafting an integrated marketing program.

“Luminato… has established itself as an essential part of Toronto culture and one of the premier global arts brands,” said Jack Bensimon, the agency’s CEO, in a statement. “It will be a privilege to help their talented team find even more inventive and relevant expressions of the brand.”

The festival has worked with a number of agencies in its five-year history, including MacLaren McCann, Endeavour and The George Partnership. It recently appointed Media Dimensions as its media AOR.
