Booth named Mobilicity’s ‘chief customer officer’

Discount mobile provider Mobilicity has hired Anthony Booth as its chief customer officer, responsible for brand development and expanding the organization’s national distribution network.

Discount mobile provider Mobilicity has hired Anthony Booth as its chief customer officer, responsible for brand development and expanding the organization’s national distribution network.

“The opportunity to join a trailblazing organization with as much potential as Mobilicity comes once in a lifetime,” Booth said in a release. “I’m thrilled to be part of the Mobilicity team and working in an industry with an incredible amount of excitement and growth ahead.”

Booth was with Mars Canada for the last 11 years, holding several senior executive roles including general manager of the food division, vice-president of marketing, vice-president of Pan American trade strategy and director of sales-grocery channel.

Prior to this, Booth spent nearly a decade with Procter & Gamble, both in Canada and the U.S., as national category manager, national account manager and project manager of the global sales research and innovation team.

“Anthony brings significant leadership and strategic insight to Mobilicity with an impressive 20-year career helping develop some of the world’s foremost brands,” said Dave Dobbin, president and CEO of Mobilicity, in a release.
