Almost all of Canada will be able to save as they swipe with the national launch of Gas Advantage Mastercard, a credit card that provides instant savings at Canadian Tire gas pumps.

Introduced in Ontario two years ago, the card is being made available in the rest of Canada (except Nova Scotia) July 1. Users can have their gas prices rolled back as much as 10 cents a litre every time they fill up. The more often a customer uses the card, the bigger the discount gets.

“By leveraging the strengths of Canadian Tire Petroleum and Canadian Tire Financial Services, we are able to provide our customers with an innovative product that offers customers instant savings at the pumps at a time when the price of gas is top of mind,” Jim Kozack, vice-president, Canadian Tire Financial Services, stated in a release.

The Gas Advantage Mastercard is issued by Canadian Tire Bank.
