Collision repair company Carstar Automotive Canada is asking Canadians to put their game face on for a contest that raises money for the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CCFF).

The “Carstar Hit Us With Your Best Shot Photo Contest” encourages football fanatics to upload a picture of their best “game face” to CarStar.ca. The company will donate $5 for each of the first 1,000 photos submitted.

A panel of judges will select the best game face, and the winner will receive the chance to win $10,000 and the chance to see their photo during one of Carstar’s commercials during CTV’s Feb. 1 broadcast of the Super Bowl.

The panel will also select a winner from each province for a chance at $500. The contest closes Jan. 18.

A 30-second commercial, developed by BOS and airing on CTV, promotes the contest. Visitors to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation website, CCFF.ca, are also directed to the contest.

Over the past nine years, Carstar has helped raise over $1.6 million for CCFF. This is the first contest the company has launched to help tackle the illness and raise money, said Sharon Welch, PR and communications specialist, Carstar Automotive Canada.

“We’ve been promoting the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for a number of years now, we thought this contest would be something we could do that would get people involved,” said Welch.
