Like defensive linemen on a quarterback, a host of Canadian brands have congregated on TSN for its 2014 CFL coverage.
The sponsor list is once again topped by Wendy’s, which is sponsoring Wendy’s Friday Night Football for a 17th season.
Other returning sponsors include General Motors, Nissan, Purolator and Safeway, all of which will be featured prominently in in-game features including “Purolator Tackle Hunger” and “Touchdown to Win” (Safeway). GM will be featured in two properties, “Coach’s Playbook with Paul LaPolice” and the Sportscentre feature “Game Ball.”
TSN has also welcomed a first-time partner in clothing retailer Moore’s, which is the presenting sponsor of the first-ever CFL fantasy game, “TSN Fantasy Football: CFL Edition.”
TSN’s CFL coverage kicks off this Thursday with coverage of the opening between the Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
