H+K adds Louisiana Pacific account and 10 hires

Building materials firm win comes amid changes across digital, creative teams

Building materials manufacturer and distributor Louisiana Pacific has hired Hill+Knowlton Strategies Canada to deliver engagement strategy support for a number of its brands.

The agency won Louisiana Pacific, which makes a line of trim and siding products made of engineered wood, as the result of an RFP.

“We were impressed with the thoroughness and big-picture thinking of the H+K team,” said Mike Maddern, director of growth and strategy at Louisiana-Pacific Building Products, in a release. “We feel that H+K is an ideal extension of our internal team, and we’re excited about the work ahead.”

In separate moves, H+K has expanded its creative and digital team and added and promoted several staffers across the country.
