Jack Black skincare selects first Canadian AOR

1Milk2Sugars will share duties between its Montreal and Toronto offices

Men’s skincare brand Jack Black has hired 1Milk2Sugars as its Canadian public relations and digital marketing agency.

1Milk2Sugars will be handling media relations, co-promotions, sponsorships, product launches, event management and social media for Jack Black, says Priya Chopra, the agency’s founder and president. The agency will also be creating a digital PR campaign for Jack Black, which will soon launch a Canadian online shop.

The 12-employee agency was selected after a lengthy RFP process, Chopra says. It’s the first time an agency has worked with Jack Black in Canada.

PR will be handled from 1Milk2Sugars’ Toronto office and digital marketing and social media out of the agency’s Montreal office.

The goal “is to augment the visibility of the brand in the right outlets,” Chopra says. Launched in 2000, Jack Black is currently the top men’s brand at Sephora Canada, she says.

François Carlier, president of Montreal-based distributor Prestilux, which distributes Jack Black in Canada, said in a statement that he is confident the agency can elevate the brand’s awareness because of its track record with other beauty brands.

One such brand is Montreal-based Jouviance for which 1Milk2Sugars recently obtained a digital project, Chopra notes. “We’ve been doing a lot of augmenting online share of voice for brands.”
