L’Oreal Canada president Javier San Juan has joined an already stellar lineup of experts taking part in Marketing’s 2nd annual Experiential Marketing Conference June 2 in Toronto.

San Juan will talk about the unique ways L’Oreal is going beyond traditional media and increasingly using experiential opportunities within its marketing mix. He’ll be joined onstage with Luminato CEO Janice Price to discuss the experiential-driven programs developed for the cultural festival which launched in 2007.

The day-long conference at Toronto’s Palais Royale includes keynotes and strategic panel sessions on the fundamentals of leveraging the face-to-face experience and making it an integral part of your media mix, built around such hot-button topics as pop-up stores, “retailtainment” and driving events to point-of-sale.

Other speakers include Bob Garfield, Advertising Age editor at large and columnist; Elizabeth Margles, vice-president of marketing for Joe Fresh; McDonald’s Canada’s national marketing director Karen Gold; Jacquie Ryan, head of Olympic marketing for RBC and Tammy Scott, Telus VP of marketing communications.
