PepsiCo Foods Canada has named Juniper Park its agency of record for the Quaker Canada portfolio of brands.

The win gives the Toronto agency North America-wide responsibilities for Quaker; it was named the brand’s AOR in the U.S. a year ago.

Kathryn Matheson, vice-president of marketing for Quaker and PepsiCo Foods Innovation, said in an e-mail that Juniper Park will handle all advertising and consumer communication, including digital responsibilities, for the Quaker’s food and snacks portfolio. This includes Quaker Oats Instant Oatmeal, Quaker granola bars, Quaker Crispy Minis Rice Snacks, and the Life, Harvest Crunch and Quaker Oatmeal Squares cereals.

The account previously resided with BBDO Toronto and Proximity Toronto, Juniper Park’s siblings under BBDO Worldwide.

BBDO Toronto retains PepsiCo Foods Canada’s snack food brands, including Lay’s, Doritos, Tostitos, Sunchips, Ruffles, Munchies, and Cheetos.

OMD Canada will continue to handle media buying.
