• Alex Bogusky, who’s initial is still on the door at CP+B, has blogged his thoughts and guesses on the agency’s split with Burger King. He has a few critical words for the advertising trade press as well.

• Congrats to the bowlers from Initiative + J3, who won the first ever Microsoft Advertising Bowl Off earlier this week in Toronto. Microsoft said more than 200 folks turned out to bowl. “Other awards were presented after the three-round tournament including the King Spirit award presented to Avishag Regev from Mediacom, Best Team T-shirt Design awarded to Blammo and Best Team Name went to Starcom with ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gutter. ” The night benefited NABS, which was presented with a $5,000 cheque.

London reeeeally wants WPP’s headquarters again (the holding company moved to Ireland for tax reasons). The U.K.’s new budget, however, makes it more of a possibility.
