Merck goes with Vibrant for ToGo campaign

Vibrant Ideation & Marketing has hit the streets with a promotional campaign aimed at active adults for Merck's new HydraSense ToGo nasal spray.

Vibrant IdĂ©ation & Marketing has launched a promotional campaign aimed at active adults for Merck‘s new HydraSense ToGo nasal spray.

A team of three brand ambassadors is handing out samples, tissues, coupons and even hot chocolate in high-traffic areas in downtown Toronto until March 18.

Consumers are invited to become members of the Dolphin Club, housed at HydraSense.ca, where they can download coupons. An “events & activities” section on the site allows consumers to track the HydraSense ambassadors.

Marie-Christine Grisé, senior brand experience manager at Vibrant, said the agency would track the success of the campaign based on the number of people who sign up at the site.

Vibrant, an experiential marketing firm with offices in Toronto and Montreal, has been working with the HydraSense brand since 2008 and was asked by Merck (formerly Schering-Plough Canada) to develop this experiential campaign for the new ToGo product, said Grisé.

This is the second leg of the ToGo tour, which kicked off in Montreal last month. Vibrant has also developed programs for Merck’s Coppertone, A+D Baby Cream, Claritin, Dr. Scholl’s and Aerius brands.
