Mini Canada has released an Olympic theme online ad from independent marketing and design agency Richmond Day.

The 60-second “Mini Sings O Canada” video highlights Mini Canada’s role as the official vehicle of Team Canada for the 2014 Winter Olympics. It features a group of Minis preforming an interpretation of “O Canada” using sounds from the vehicles in a garage.

While Mini’s main Canadian agency is Anomaly, the car company uses Richmond Day to market its parts and accessories business, as well as for online spots and brochures.

Agency founder Sandro Liburdi said the car’s range of accessory items add “a lot of character to any Mini. We wanted to bring this message to life, and it just so happened that we brought some Minis to life along the way.”

Richmond Day partnered with production company Corner Store Films and SNDWRX Audio on the spot.
