Clothing retailer Off The Wall has launched new in-store and online ads with the Bench clothing company that really jump out at consumers.

The youth-focused clothing retailer has installed 3D window displays in all 16 of its locations across Canada.

Passersby can enter the store and ask for a free pair of 3D glasses to get the full effect. They’ll also get a 3D postcard that drives them to OffTheWallClothing.com where they can find this season’s look book in 3D, and enter to win a Samsung 3D HDTV.

Lisa Stuve, marketing coordinator of Off The Wall Clothing, a division and sibling brand of West 49, said the September campaign was sparked by the popularity of 3D movies like Alice and Wonderland the upcoming Tron: Legacy.

“Basically what we wanted to do was align ourselves with upcoming trends and drive traffic back to our website,” she said.

Bench also created an online video in 3D as part of its fall campaign, which is why the partnership made sense, said Stuve. The ad can be viewed at OffTheWallClothing.com
