AB InBev named MICHAEL SCISSONS as its new global vice-president of e-commerce. He will lead the company’s e-commerce businesses, products, technologies and teams to ensure a positive customer experience. Scissons was previously an entrepreneur in residence at AB InBev, and was a leader at Grid.
Beyond Marketing Group appointed CHRIS LAM as its new account director in Toronto. Lam has more than a decade of experience building brands like Tim Hortons and Labatt. KARENSA WILLIAMS was hired as a digital strategist to help clients navigate the social media environment. Williams worked previously as a media planner at Touche, Bensimon Byrne and Cossette.
88 Creative added TIM SINGLETON as a junior designer. A graduate of OCAD and George Brown, he worked as a designer for the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research. Singleton will be in charge of web design, branding and graphic design. MORGAN CRAIG was also hired as a PR account coordinator. She will work with the agency’s new PR clients, including mobile app Grabb. Craig was previously an account coordinator at GCI and worked with clients like LG, Mattel and Lowe’s Canada.
Revolve hired ALYSON SANDERS as a brand strategist. She has 14 years of experience in government, non-profits and the private sector, and holds an MBA. AMANDA MACDONALD was also added as a brand catalyst. She was an event manager at Phoenix, responsible for leading large-scale fundraising. MALLORY VINCENT joined the team as a brand creator. She has helped build brands like Efficiency Nova Scotia and Atlantic Film Festival. MARGARET THERIAULT was hired as an accounting clerk. She has 15 years of experience with public and private companies.
MSLGroup brought on ISABELLE DUBÉ-CÔTÉ as executive director of corporate communications and reputation management in its Montreal office. She previously worked at BCP Réputation as director of reputation, as well as at the NYSE in New York and Euronext in Paris. Dubé-Côté will be responsible for aiding clients in reputation management, corporate citizenship and corporate communications.
Rivet hired PAUL KRON as a vice-president and director of strategic planning. He brings more than 20 years of experience in international agency and client-side experience. He will provide research-based insights to clients like CIBC, Nestlé Canada, Janssen and Primus.
