The Ordre des dentistes du Québec is launching a new radio and television campaign meant to educate Quebecers on the importance of oral health.

The campaign, designed by Über, started Monday and will run throughout January, with the 30-second TV spots returning to the air from March 25 until April 7. The spots will air on 10 general and special-interest Francophone networks, mostly during prime time.

English ads will also play on several radio stations.

Dr. Barry Dolman, president of the Ordre des dentistes du QuĂ©bec, said in a statement that this integrated communication campaign is the first step toward increasing public awareness of oral health. “The campaign focuses on dentists’ important role in Quebecers’ lives,” he said.

The tagline for the ads, “Dentists. Doctors who put a spotlight on your oral health,” is meant to reiterate the value of good oral hygiene and remind Quebecers to schedule regular dentist appointments.
