Cineplex Entertainment is bringing the music scene to the big screen with a “Fall Concert Series” at participating locations.

Beginning Oct. 1, the movie theatre operator will screen five concerts featuring acts including Beck, The White Stripes and Radiohead in high-definition and digital surround sound at participating locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario.

Georgia Sourtzis, manager of communications for Cineplex Entertainment, said the concert series is about the company becoming the ultimate entertainment destination for consumers.

“Our guests can arrive and see whatever they want to see, whether it’s a concert, a movie, an opera, or playing Xbox on the big screen,” she said. “It’s about giving our guests more choice.”

Individual tickets are available online at Cineplex.com, as well as participating theatre box offices, for $10.95 plus tax. Guests can purchase tickets to all five concerts for $39.95 plus tax or any three concerts for the package price of $24.95 plus tax.

Cineplex is promoting the concert series with theatre posters and through its website.
