Purolator has signed a new four-year sponsorship agreement with Hockey Canada that grants it exclusivity in the courier and freight delivery service category.

As part of the deal, Purolator will deliver Hockey Canada’s equipment and supplies to events across the country and globally, while its trademarks and word marks will be included in all advertising and promotion for Hockey Canada events.

Purolator also becomes the official sponsor for five events on the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) calendar, including the upcoming IIHF World Junior Championship (which generated record audiences for TSN last year) and the 2013 IIHF Women’s World Championship taking place in Ottawa.

The company also becomes an official sponsor of six national events hosted by the organization, including the Telus Cup national midget championship; RBC Cup national Jr. A championship, and the national women’s under-18 championship.
