The Canadian Football League [CFL] has appointed Sara Moore as vice-president, marketing.
Moore, who has held positions at Mobilicity, Yahoo! Canada, Alliance Atlantis Broadcasting and Rogers Wireless, will lead marketing initiatives in research, creative development and advertising across all platforms.
“As we look forward to an important milestone, the One Hundredth Grey Cup game in 2012, our business is poised to accelerate its growth across the country,” said CFL commissioner Mark Cohon, in a release. “Sara has the expertise and energy we need to ensure we seize the many opportunities before us.”
In her new role, Moore will also contribute to league strategic planning and the management of business operating issues.
“The CFL is now tapping into its true potential and, working with our colleagues at the team level and a strong group at the league office, I look forward to helping drive the league’s continued success,” said Moore, in a release.
