Mobilicity says a court injunction requested by Telus to stop ads by the smaller wireless competitor has been denied by the British Columbia Supreme Court.
Mobilicity said the court didn’t agree with Telus that its print and TV ads were misleading.
Mobilicity chief operating officer Stewart Lyons said it was an “intimidation tactic” by Telus to stop its no-contract advertising campaign which is running during the holiday season.
Telus had accused Mobilicity of making false claims in general about other carriers, including Telus, of placing limits on unlimited calling plans by restricting them to evenings and weekends.
Mobilicity offers no-contract cellphone service.
