Urban Barn hires firm for Quebec expansion

Furniture and home décor retailer opens its first stores in the province this month

Urban Barn has chosen Montreal-based Casacom to handle the arrival of the chain in Quebec.

The 25-year-old Vancouver-based furniture and home décor retailer, which has more than 50 stores across Canada, is opening its first stores in Quebec this month in Boucherville and Boisbriand.

Casacom is executing Urban Barn’s communication activities including public relations, event organization, digital communications and publicity.

Urban Barn has a non-conventional décor approach and the agency aims to introduce as many Quebecers as possible to the brand, says Brigitte Pouliot, director of integrated communications at Casacom.
