In the 30-second spot, groups of kids are used to present statistics around kids’ health in the form of pie charts and bar graphs.
“We want to get the attention of parents and coaches, and help them understand that by making small changes to how we teach sport, we can make a massive difference to the quality of life our children will enjoy,” said Jonathon Longworth, vice-president, client integration at Dare, in a release.
The commercial drives viewers to ActiveForLife.ca, also developed by Dare Vancouver, where they can learn more on how to teach kids to be more physically active.
The PSA will run the remainder of the year.
