This Canadian Pacific spot shows how two brothers — one who’s into farming, one who’s more into trains — end up overcoming their differences. It’s meant to symbolize the bond between the railway and Canada’s grain farmers.
Robert MacLean, director, customer and integrated communications at Canadian Pacific, said it was the first TV spot Canadian Pacific has done in 20 years to address its business.
Canadian Pacific is a sponsor of the World Junior Championships and has been running the commercial on TSN during each nationally televised hockey game. It will run until Jan. 5 and will also be used regionally in the future across the prairies.
Vancouver-based agency Kommunity produced the commercial. Lang Marketing assisted with the media buy.
