Watch This: RBC re-writes classic children’s stories

Could mobile bank have saved Rapunzel?

Rapunzel wouldn’t have needed her prince if mobile banking had been around in the Brothers Grimm’s day. She would have just Googled the closest locksmith, then sent him a text with his fee. At least that’s how RBC has re-written the classic fairy tale inĀ its new animated spot by GMR Marketing.

Released late last week, the ad is part of RBC’s ongoing “Tales of #HappySending” series. The bank has already re-written several classic children’s stories with mobile banking twists, including The Princess and the Pea, The Three Little Pigs and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Take a look.
