In time for Fourth Of July celebrations, Taxi New York, Taxi Montreal and U.S. client Clear Channel Outdoor created a series of billboards across 26 American cities to promote “United 4th” which, as it strapline says, promotes the idea that “United, we tell and bigger story.”
Taxi chairman Paul Lavoie recently joined a Clear Channel board of advisers. During a meeting at the recent Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Lavoie pitched this idea to the media company. During his flight home (and barely two weeks before July 4), he arranged to have the agency network implement it at breakneck speed – recording the national anthem with singer Ingrid Michaelson, designing the boardsĀ and filming in all 26 cities (which staff from Taxi and Clear Channel both helped do).
