Given how important silence is in the messaging of Bell‘s “Let’s Talk” mental health campaign, it’s worth noting how it’s used in this video spot. For starters, there’s no dialogue and the environmental sounds (crickets, the doorbell) are considerably muted. But the relative silence of the outdoor scene is nothing compared to the sudden, crushing and absolute silence of the interior shot.
The super: Millions of Canadians suffer from mental illness in silence.
