Cannes 2016: LG2 lone Canadian shop on Print & Publishing list

Agency's Quebec office shortlisted five times for two clients

PRESENTED_BY_AOLLG2 Quebec was the only Canadian agency to make the revamped Print & Publishing competition in Cannes on Sunday.

Formerly known as the Press Lions, the Print & Publishing competition was tweaked slightly this year to not only honour outstanding work on the printed page, but also to recognize best uses of interactive press.

saaq_-_truck_aotwThe independent boutique agency earned five nominations: two for Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec’s Road Safety campaign and three for Studio, a clothing and apparel brand. The agency’s work on the Road Safety campaign was also recognized with nominations in the Radio competition for “Gift” and “Movie.”

This brings the agency’s nomination count to seven across the Print & Publishing and Radio competitions.

The Print & Publishing Lions will be handed out during an awards gala in Cannes Monday night.
