Produced by Canadian Printer, the all new Print In The Mix Conference attracted close to 400 people to The Carlu in downtown Toronto (September 25th) for sessions targeting the buyers of printing and addressing ways to improve communications through print.

The day-long event was hosted by the CBC’s Wendy Mesley, and conference speakers included: Daniel Dejan of Sappi Fine Paper, Joe Duncan of Leo Burnett, Laurene Cihosky of Canada Post, Colin Smith from Adobe, Anthony Watanabe of Innovolve and Bob Wagner from Xerox. Aside from the conference sessions, visitors were able to browse displays from 30 exhibitors including printers and suppliers to the industry.

A theme to the event was Keeping it Lean and Green—promoting print in a progressive and sustainable way. Primary sponsors included Canada Post, Adobe, Xerox, Acuity, Spicers and Kallima, along with additional support from Heidelberg’s Print Media Academy, Sun Chemical and Transcontinental.

Keep posted for information regarding next year’s event.
