Ariad hires two creative leaders

Jason Wren and Trevor Schoenfeld come aboard

Toronto communications agency Ariad has beefed up its creative stable, announcing two new hires in senior roles.

Trevor Schoenfeld, who’s previously worked with Brooklyn7 and Young & Rubicam, joined Ariad as its new co-creative director.

He comes to the firm with a long history of success, and is a multiple award-winning creator; projects he’s worked on have clinched CMAs, Cassies, CLIOs and Cannes Lions.

Jason Wren has also joined Ariad, taking up the role of senior art director.

After freelancing for some of Toronto’s top shops, Wren has a solid portfolio of work with Rogers, Microsoft, Visa, Porsche and TD Bank. Ariad hired Wren because of great ideas and “passion” for a high level of work.

Ariad’s president Michael Beckerman said the agency’s clients expect compelling and memorable creative.

“We strive to exceed that expectation every day. Trevor and Jason are key additions to the Ariad team. Our clients will be delighted with their depth of knowledge and talent,” Beckerman said, in a press release.

Ariad’s clients include Becel, Vale, Degree, Knorr, Smart, Popsicle and major corporations from across the financial services sector.
