Citoyen Optimum promotes Donna Battista

PR maven assumes new role

Donna BattistaDonna Battista has been promoted to account director of Citoyen Optimum’s public relations and marketing communications team in Montreal. She started with Citoyen Optimum in January 2014 as senior account manager.

Battista has 15 years of experience in marketing communications at the client and agency level. She has worked with international brands in several industries, including food, fashion, beauty and tourism in Quebec and Ontario. Her postings have included a tenure as manager of public relations at Birks & Mayors.

“She’s a key actor on my team. She’s been very much involved in client development with me,” says Katia Robillard, vice-president, public relations and marketing communications at Citoyen Optimum. Having worked in both Toronto and Quebec, “she has a very good knowledge of the Canadian media landscape,” Robillard says. “She has a very sharp sense for strategy development.”

Citoyen Optimum is part of Citizen Relations.
