Cossette in Toronto continues to bolster its creative department with the addition of copywriter Craig McIntosh (above right) and art director Jaimes Zentil as creative directors.
McIntosh and Zentil, who have been a team since joining BBDO Toronto as creative interns 14 years ago, most recently served as associate creative directors at Anomaly, where they helped launch the Shock Top beer brand in Canada. Prior to that, they worked at Taxi in between stints at BBDO Toronto.
The pair are the first new hires under the creative leadership of Peter Ignazi and Carlos Moreno, who left BBDO Toronto to join Cossette as co-chief creative officers in February.
“Their talent addresses the needs of today,” said Moreno, in a statement. “They represent broad-based thinking and fluency in all disciplines. They are a proven creative team that will help us considerably as we continue our overall goal of having the best creative product, not just in this country, but in our industry.”
Over the past decade, McIntosh and Zentil have worked across a broad cross- section of the sector including alcoholic beverages, automotive, packaged foods and retail, producing work for brands like Nike, Mitsubishi, Budweiser and Shaw Communications.
