Cossette Media hires Marc Fares as SVP, digital strategy

Former Bell Canada exec will work out of the agency's Montreal and Quebec City offices

MARCFARES_9965 (1)Cossette Media has hired Marc Fares in the newly created role of senior vice-president of digital strategy, where he will supervise development of the agency’s digital media services. Marc will work out of the agency’s offices in Montreal and Quebec City.

Fares has a long history in the digital space, with a focus on customer experience. Most recently he was director of digital strategy and customer experience at Bell Canada, where he led the company’s digital transformation strategy.

Prior to his work at Bell, Fares spent 12 years at Aeroplan, culminating in a position as general manager of digital experience. Before that he managed corporate strategy at Air Canada.

“Marc Fares is a seasoned pro who has distinguished himself through his innate sense of innovation,” said John Tarantino, general manager of Cossette Media in Quebec, in a release. “He is precisely the kind of player we need to work with our clients and build digital strategies with them.”
