Craft New Hires

Craft Public Relations grows its team by two

Linda Yahya and Julie Pieterse join the Toronto firm following new business wins

Toronto-based Craft Public Relations has added Linda Yahya as account manager and Julie Pieterse as account executive.

The hires come on the heels of several new business wins for the agency, including Metroland Media, Dose Juice and Nintendo of Canada, says agency president, Lisa Pasquin.

“I opened Craft to provide a consistent level of smart, strategic thinking to clients, and Linda and Julie support that mission in a big way,” Pasquin said in a statement.

Yahya joins Craft from Collective Arts Brewing, an Ontario craft brewer, where she was communications and brand manager. Before that, she was at DDB PR where she led PR strategy and execution for such drink brands as Moët Hennessy line of premium champagnes and spirits.

Pieterse previously worked as a public and government relations consultant at strategic communication firm Daisy Consulting Group and worked on a volunteer basis as a researcher, digital strategist and media monitor for the Toronto mayoralty campaign for Olivia Chow in 2014.
