Environics Analytics boosts its senior team

Company focused on meeting growing demand for analytics-driven services

Environics Analytics has hired Evan Wood as its senior vice-president of marketing and custom services and Jeff Clark as its chief customer officer.

The Toronto-based marketing and analytical services company has also promoted Danny Heuman to senior vice-president of research and development.

Wood has 25 years of marketing, analytics and business experience and has worked for Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, non-profit organizations and advertising agencies. He was the founding president of Pivotal Contact, which Environics recently acquired as part of its strategy to offer clients a wider spectrum of data-driven services.

Clark has more than 15 years of experience in digital advertising, marketing and strategic planning, most recently as vice-president of audience and analytics at Postmedia and head of technology strategy at Olive Media. Among Clark’s responsibilities will be to lead Environics’ product management, client services and training groups.

Heuman will lead the company’s data and software development, custom analytics and quality assurance products and services. He has been with the company since its founding in 2003 and was chief architect of Prizm5, Environic’s segmentation system that classifies Canadians into 68 lifestyles.

The hires and promotion are part of the company’s initiative to meet the growing demand for analytics-driven marketing services, said Jan Kestle, president and founder of Environics Analytics. The three “bring added power to our executive team to better meet the market’s changing needs and help our clients meet their business challenges,” she said in a statement.
