Environics strengthens Toronto team with two new hires

Firm welcomes Julia Budahazy, Eric McLean

Environics Communications in Toronto has hired Julia Budahazy as an account director and Eric McLean as a consultant.

The firm says Budahazy’s hiring adds more heft to the firm’s consumer insights capabilities. She has experience in marketing strategy and branding, content marketing, CRM and lead acquisition and has worked with clients such as RBC, Oxford Properties and Telus. She previously worked at Ariad Communications.

McLean previously worked on such national brands as Microsoft Canada, Canada Post and Royal Canadian Mint while at Hill+Knowlton Strategies in Ottawa and Veritas Communications in Toronto.  His experience includes digital measurement, analytics and media relations.

“Hiring Julia and Eric demonstrates our ongoing commitment to finding smart, high integrity people that bring PR, digital and CRM skills, and who contribute to increasing the effectiveness of our clients’ communication and marketing investments,” said Paul Lockhard, president, Environics Communications, in a statement.
