Former Ogilvy group digital director joins Edelman

Neil Mohan joins public relation firm's Toronto office

Neil Mohan ProfileEdelman has named Neil Mohan vice-president, digital of its consumer marketing practice in Toronto.

Mohan joins Edelman Toronto from Ogilvy, where he was group digital director. Previously, Mohan was at a number of agencies including Juniper Park, Y&R/Wunderman and Organic, and has worked for such brands as Dove, Tim Hortons and Toyota.

“Neil’s background makes him an ideal fit for our team,” said Dave Fleet, senior vice-president, digital, Canada East for Edelman, in a statement. “He has exceptional client service skills and deep CPG and consumer marketing experience. His focus on driving innovation into our programming will further strengthen our ability to evolve, promote and protect our clients’ brands.”

Mohan’s hiring comes on the heels of several recent appointments at Edelman including Andrew Simon as executive creative director; Catherine Yuile as senior vice-president and national lead of Edelman’s insight and analytics specialty; and Saeed Zaman as senior account director, paid media.
