The president of the Joe Fresh clothing business is moving to serve that role with the Holt Renfrew retail chain, both of which are controlled by the Weston family.

In announcing the move, Loblaw president Galen G. Weston credited Mario Grauso with “improving almost every aspect” of Joe Fresh, which is part of Loblaw Co.

Loblaw said under Grauso’s leadership, Joe Fresh launched its ecommerce business, streamlined its apparel assortment and added footwear and beauty products.

Grauso will succeed outgoing Holt Renfrew president Mark Derbyshire.

Joe Fresh expects to name a new president before Grauso’s move in September.

The Weston family also controls other retailers through Selfridges Group, including Selfridges in the United Kingdom and Brown Thomas in Ireland.
