The former Havas ECD has a new gig

Jon Freir has been made creative director at DentsuBos‘ Toronto office, agency president Claude Carrier announced Monday.

Coming from Havas’ Toronto operation as executive creative director (and previously senior vice-president and CD at MacLaren Momentum), Freir now assumes creative oversight of the agency’s output.

“Jon is a truly integrated creative leader with accomplished success across multiple disciplines,” said Carrier, in a statement. “He not only possesses a truly inspired creative mind and a track record to back it up, but he also brings solid business acumen and a very strong entrepreneurial spirit focused on helping our clients build their brands and their business.”
