Maxus hires Lindsey Talbot as manager of all-channel trading

Starcom MediaVest vet to sit on executive team

LindsayTalbotMaxus Canada has added another person to what president Ann Stewart calls a “new and rejuvenated” executive team, naming Lindsey Talbot managing director of all-channel trading.

Talbot is responsible for integrating all-channel trading into each Maxus client team, as the GroupM-owned agency moves away from siloed broadcast, print and digital buying to a “holistic approach” to media buying.

Talbot had spent the previous 12 years with Starcom MediaVest Group, most recently as vice-president, group investment director, overseeing corporate negotiations and client account management on major businesses including Kraft and TD Bank. She also played a key role in spearheading new business developments and presentations.

Prior to that, she worked at MEC (Maxus’ sister shop) as an investment supervisor. Her career has also included stops at OMD Canada and HYPN (now PHD Canada).

Talbot will report directly to Stewart and sit on the Canadian Maxus executive team. She will represent Maxus at the GroupM level for all trading activity along with Neil Johnson, who was named GroupM Canada’s chief trading officer in September.
