JACK NEARY will join TBWACanada in Toronto Sept. 1 as the chief creative officer. Neary spent 10 years at BBDO Canada before moving in early 2008 to the agency’s New York office as worldwide creative director to work on Procter & Gamble’s Venus, Braun and Gillette brands.

Saatchi & Saatchi Canada has promoted HELEN PAK and BRIAN SHEPPARD to co-executive creative director positions following the departure of BRETT CHANNER, who has stepped down as chairman and executive creative director to pursue other ventures within the Publicis-owned agency network. Pak and Sheppard will report to agency president and CEO Stuart Payne who now oversees Channer’s day-to-day management duties.

GLEN HUNT is leaving his role as creative catalyst with Dentsu Canada for what he calls a career “hiatus.” There are no plans to replace Hunt at this time. The current creative team includes: Les Soos, Deborah Prenger, Jonathan Careless, David West, Greg Trinier, Paul Ruta and Stephen Creet.

Hill & Knowlton Canada has promoted JOY JENNISSEN to senior vice-president and western Canadian representative. Jennissen has worked for the firm for nine years and prior to that was co-owner of Roberts Jennissen Communications, a Hill & Knowlton affiliate in Halifax.

Environics Communications Inc. has appointed CAMERON BISHOP to vice-president of the agency’s government relations practice. Bishop will oversee private sector and not-for-profit clients with issues ranging from policy development and analysis to government procurement. Prior to joining Environics, Bishop was director of government affairs and media relations for the Canadian Lung Association in Ottawa.

The Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium has named GAVIN ROTH as vice-president, sales and CHRISTOS NIKITOPOULOS as vice-president, programming and revenue planning for the Consortium’s coverage of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

MICHAEL ENNAMORATO was promoted to managing director of TNS Canada. Ennamorato is now responsible for client services, business development, study management, operations, statistical services, finance and human resources.

CHRIS FROGGATT and LEAH MURRAY are joining National Public Relations in Ottawa, as managing partner and director, respectively.

TRACY FELLOWS is leaving her post as Holt Renfrew‘s vice-president of marketing after three years to work in the not-for-profit sector.

JACQUES GRAVEL has been appointed president of CIM Québec. Gravel spent the last 15 years developing and implementing strategic marketing programs and retail sales solutions for a variety of Canadian companies including Procter & Gamble.

Henderson Bas has appointed LAURA PACEY, the former senior vice-president, general manager of MacLaren MRM, as chief operating officer. Pacey will manage agency growth, while providing strategic and operational guidance.
