DALE HOOPER joins Rogers Media as senior vice-president of sales and marketing on Feb. 22. Hooper, who was most recently at PepsiCo Beverages Canada, will develop sales and marketing strategies and campaigns for all Rogers Media properties across all platforms. He will report to Keith Pelley, who took over as Rogers Media president in September.
Online classified site Kijiji appointed MOLLY CUNNINGHAM to senior account executive, advertising sales, effective immediately. Cunningham recently served as director, integrated sales, for Postmedia Network on the Globaltv.com, NationalPost.com and FoodTV.ca properties.
ANDREW BERGSTROM was promoted to executive vice-president and managing director at Cossette Toronto, replacing Brett Marchand who was named Cossette’s CEO last year. Bergstrom has been senior vice-president and head of Cossette’s Nucleus strategic planning division for two years.
Additionally, Cossette named MELANIE DUNN executive vice-president and managing director of its Montreal office. For the past four years, Dunn managed Blitz, Cossette’s former relationship marketing and promotions unit that was integrated under Cossette’s new Vision7 platform in November.
Rare Method Interactive appointed PABLO NORIEGA to its board of directors. From 2002 to 2005, Noriega worked as a lawyer for Basham Ringe and Correa in Mexico. From there he moved to Vancouver where he served as a legal and business consultant on civil and commercial law in Latin America. Since 2010, Noriega has worked at the Platform investments Group in Calgary.
Environics Communications has added AMANDA SANTINO, JERMAINE REYES and ALLISON TODD to its Toronto office. Santino joins as a consultant in the firm’s corporate practice, Reyes joins as an account coordinator in the health practice, and Todd joins the consumer team as an account coordinator.
ALI PULVER joins Proximity Canada’s project management office as vice-president, operations. Pulver joins Proximity Canada from Enfatico New York where she was the global project management director. Prior to that she was VP, director of project management with Wunderman in New York.
Agency 59 hired STEPHEN GHIGLIOTTY as account director on the Interac account. Ghigliotty most recently served as director of digital merchandising with Artisan Complete. He has also held positions at Saatchi & Saatchi Canada and Euro RSCG Life New York.
Newad hired JIM HUMPHREY as regional general manager to lead the agency’s experiential marketing departments in B.C. and Alberta. Humphrey spent the last four years at Pharmasave Drugs where he most recently served as merchandising director.
NEIL TARDIO joins Partners production house in Toronto. Before becoming a director, Tardio worked at Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB in Chicago. His work has garnered him five Clios, four Cannes Lions, and two London Art Director awards.
Digital strategy and customer experience design firm Delvinia promoted six and added new members to its team. RAJ MANOCHA joins as director of sales for Delvinia’s AskingCanadians, an online community that rewards visitors for sharing their opinions. SUSAN O’NEILL joins as public relations manager. JULIANNE SMOLA is now vice-president of panel experience for AskingCanadians, AMY SULLIVAN is vice-president of customer insight, ANDREW KINNEAR is vice-president of customer experience, KATY PEDERSEN is director of operations, CHRIS ANDAYA is director of data collection, and TYPHAINE LE COVERC is acquisition manger.
