On The Move: Additions at Blue Ant, Grip and Yield

Free For All Marketing named LISA BARRANS as its new president. Formerly a senior vice-president with the experiential agency, Barrans will now be responsible for strategic leadership, day-to-day management and annual growth. She joined Free For All Marketing in January 2008 and was instrumental in the agency’s growth during its formative years.  She has made numerous contributions to the success of the firm in increasingly more senior client service and leadership roles. As a result of the promotion, agency founder Mary Beth Denomy becomes chairperson.

ROBERT RAMES joined Blue Ant Media as video solutions digital account executive. Prior to this, he spent four years at Oboxmedia as a senior account executive where he formed partnerships with companies such as Songza and Twitch.tv. Rames has also worked at Rogers, CTV, and CHUM Television.

Yield brought on MICHAEL NITSOPOULOS as head of design and ZAIGHAM ZULQERNAIN as digital director. Nitsopoulos is an award-winning creative director, with 15-plus years of industry experience. He was previously a founder and creative director at Cinderbloc, and has worked with clients including BMO, Bombardier, Canada Post, Fairmont Hotels, and New York Fries. Over the past four years Zulqernain has been a digital strategy consultant to several agencies in Canada including Sid Lee, The & Partnership, Cossette, Critical Mass and DDB.

Over the past few months Grip has added 18 new members to its team in Toronto.
