On The Move: Changes at Cundari, Razorfish, Wax, Shaftesbury

Jay Bennett

Cundari appointed JENNIFER STEINMANN president. She first joined the Toronto agency six years ago as VP, director of client services, and was promoted to managing director in 2013. Previously, Steinmann held leadership roles at agencies in Canada and Europe.

Razorfish Toronto named LISA WALL as group director of client engagement. In her new role she will develop client relationships, provide counsel and drive the growth of the agency’s financial services expertise across Canada. She joins Razorfish from AKQA where she worked as a group account director on a variety of projects including social initiatives, website redesign, personalization and digital engagement.

Calgary’s Wax Partnership added JAMES BROWN as a group account director. He has over 18 years of account experience working with brands in experiential marketing and integrated campaign solutions. He will lead the Servus Credit Union and Newalta accounts, among others.

Society, etc. hired MATEO RAMOS-JANG as an account executive and MELISSA LAMARRE as an account coordinator. Ramos-Jang was previously at Performics, while Lamarre worked most recently at Starcom Mediavest Group. SARAH MAYBERRY was also promoted to account executive. The changes follow business account wins.

Shaftesbury appointed JAY BENNETT as senior vice-president of creative and innovation. In the newly created role, Bennett will be focusing on technology and multi-screen content including original digital and feature film projects and branded entertainment. He will also oversee marketing, research, audience engagement and merchandising and licensing strategies across all divisions.

Scotiabank hired ALLISON WATKIN as manager of Canadian banking communications. She was previously an account director and then a consultant at Narrative PR.
