On The Move: Changes at M2, DS+P and DentsuBos

A weekly recap of who's headed where in Canadian marketing and communications

M2 added SCOTT MORRIS and CHRISTINE KNECHTEL to the communication strategies team as managers.  Morris, who previously worked with auto brands like Jaguar/Landrover and Ford, will handle General Motors Ontario Dealers Association and Sky Zone. Knechtel, who has working with clients like Procter & Gamble and Tim Hortons, will be focused on RBC Royal Bank. The media agency also named BONNIE KETCHESON a manager on the broadcast team. She has experience working with clients like Rogers, Molson, Hyundai and the Government of Ontario. She will be working on the RBC Royal Bank, Dairy Farmers of Canada and Wind Mobile accounts.

DS+P hired KRISTIN BURNHAM as its new head of planning. She has over 15 years of experience as a brand and business strategist on both the client and agency side, most recently working at Cossette. The agency also announced SAMANTHA BUTTS as its new account manager, LYILA OMAR as the new executive coordinator, and NICK RICHARD as an IT manager and consultant.

DentsuBos named LYRANDA MARTIN-EVANS and TRAVIS COWDY as its new group creative directors. Martin-Evans has 15 years of experience as a writer with brands like McDonald’s, Coca-Cola and Tide North America. Cowdy, an art director with 15 years of experience, has worked with clients like Warner Music, Burton, The Virgin Group of Companies and Church + Dwight.
