On The Move: Changes at MacLaren, CBC and Eyereturn

MacLaren’s Scott Johnson and Chris Duffett

SCOTT JOHNSON and CHRIS DUFFETT left Taxi and joined MacLaren McCann Canada as creative directors. The creative team have worked at the country’s top agencies on brands including McDonalds, Boston Pizza and the Hockey Hall of Fame.

CBC appointed MARTIN MARKLE as senior director of children’s content to oversee development and production of all children’s content and help evolve the broadcaster’s multiplatform strategy geared towards its youngest viewers. ZACH FELDBERG was added to the team as executive in charge of production and digital originals. He will work with the scripted and unscripted teams on CBC’s digital original strategy.

Eyereturn Marketing made nine changes to its team over the past two months, following the programmatic agency’s 76% year-over-year growth, increasing adoption of programmatic solutions as well as an expanding client roster. Eyereturn added ANDREW BELOMESTNY as senior developer of operations and network administrator; KATIE JANZEN as an HR coordinator; PATRICK DERENIWSKI as an account manager; LINDSAY CASEY as an account manager of digital production; HANI ALMOUSLI as a data scientist; and ANTHONY PAGLIARO as a tech project manager. As well, the agency promoted SKAI SPOONER to marketing manager, ANDREA AHO to lead digital analyst and COLLIN ZHANG to developer.

Fuse Marketing Group hired ALEENA MAZHAR as the director of experiential marketing. Previously a group account director at Boom Marketing, she has eight years of experience developing experiential campaigns for clients like Absolut Vodka and Budweiser. The integrated agency also added KATHERINE FRECH as director of operations. She has more than 20 years of experience in product management in both digital and traditional marketing communication. RYAN HOWORTH joined the team as a senior art director.  DAN BLUMBERG was hired as an account coordinator, SAM RUDYKOFF was added as a copywriter and JESSICA MENEGUZZI was hired as a production coordinator. In addition, KELLEY DORIS and EMMA GRAVELLE were promoted to associate creative director and account supervisor, respectively.
